![]() ![]() Uniquely formulated with radiance-boosting, mineral-coated pearls, it’s been proven to refine texture, blur the appearance of fine lines and cover dark circles, which is three big boxes ticked. It's inspired by the already-popular Original Loose Mineral Foundation and a perfect complement to the forthcoming Original Liquid Mineral Foundation, so when we heard that 100% of product testers said it instantly concealed skin imperfections*, we knew we had to try it.Īside from containing only 19 ingredients (that's far fewer than existing top-selling concealers), bareMinerals' new Original Liquid Mineral Concealer really shines when it comes to skin-improving performance. This month, bareMinerals launches the first clean, vegan liquid concealer. Our trusty magic wands have become even more coveted in the past 12 months for saving us from dark circles, pesky breakouts and squint-induced fine lines now that we’re expected to be screen-ready at. There are a lot of options out there that can give you similar results. Given the clean ingredients and the environmentally friendly packaging, I think the Sunlit palette is worth looking into if you’re interested.Īlthough I don’t know how the other 4 palettes perform, based on these 2 that I tried, I don’t think I’ll spend another $32 USD on trying any of the other palettes. This palette is not pigmented and hard to use.įor the Sunlit palette, if you’re looking for an everyday palette that gives you one or two simple look and a wash of color, I think you may like this. Overall, I will not recommend the BareMinerals Mineralist eyeshadow palettes in Ultranatural, even if you prefer ‘no makeup’ makeup look. I used all the shades in each palette to generate the looks. I like how simple this bronzy golden look is, definitely suitable for wearing to work. The mattes performed slightly better than the ones in the Ultranatural palette: they are more pigmented. The second look created using the Sunlit palette is also pretty light. Swatches for the BareMinerals Mineralist eyeshadow palettes Ultranatural and SunlitĮye look created using the BareMinerals Mineralist eyeshadow palettes in Sunlit The mattes are more blendable than those in the Ultranatural palette, but still need improvement. The satins in the Sunlit palette are smooth and pigmented. Although I don’t expect eyeshadows from BareMinerals to be super pigmented, shadows in the Sunlit palette showed up well on the lid. They are pretty as a light wash of pale pink color.įor the Sunlit palette, it is much better in quality than Ultranatural. The satins are better as they at least showed up on the lid (I used finger to apply). I can’t comment on the blendability of other matte shades as I couldn’t even get they to show up. As you can see from my eye look below, the darkest shade looks really patchy. I couldn’t get any pigments from the matte shades to show up on my eye lid! I got minimal pigment when I jabbed my brush (I used Sonic G natural hair brushes) into the pans! It took me a long time to just get the darkest shade to show up a little bit on the lid. Regarding the formulation, we’ll look at the Mineralist palette in Ultranatural first!Īlthough Ultranatural is my favorite color story among all the six palettes, it is indeed very disappointing! I was shocked that none of the mattes are pigmented, even the darkest shade. Sephora * only carries 3 out of the 6 palettes.Įach of these little palette contains different combinations of matte and satin shades, except the purple palette (Heathered), which also contains a metallic shade.īareMinerals is one of a few brands that I trust for the quality and type of ingredients that they use in their makeup products! As mentioned above, these eyeshadow palettes are talc-free and made with clean ingredients. I got both the Ultranatural and Sunlit palettes from Macy’s *, which carries all the 6 Mineralist palettes. ![]() There are 6 x 1.3 g, or 6 x 0.04 oz of products in each palette.
